Another staple on many Thanksgiving tables is cranberry sauce.
Growing up, I thought it was gross. Am I the only one? Maybe it’s because we always had the cranberry jelly that comes in a can. Nothing fancy about it – out of the can, and sliced onto a plate. Many people insist on it, but how many actually eat it? I’m not sure.
A few years ago, we finally decided to make our own cranberry sauce, and now I get what it’s supposed to taste like! Maybe the stuff in the can tastes similar, but I don’t know that I want to try it and find out!
